The Rose & Crown Mayfield
How we helped The Rose & Crown Mayfield get found online and win more hospitality & pub work.
A village pub with rooms is really four businesses sharing one front door: a restaurant, a bar, a venue for private parties, and a small hotel. Most pub websites pick one of those and bury the rest, which is how a wedding enquiry ends up going somewhere else entirely.
The Rose & Crown is Grade II listed and trades heavily on character, so a stock hospitality template was never going to work. We designed the interface around the building itself, then built a structure that gives menus, events, private hire and guest accommodation each their own proper home without any of them crowding out the others.
The result is a site where a diner, a party organiser and someone booking a room each find what they came for within a tap or two — and where the pub can update a menu or add an event without calling us.
